How SIG Members Can Join ASCILITE Through Institutional Membership
Many universities and organisations hold an ASCILITE institutional membership, which allows a number of staff members to join ASCILITE through their institution.
Follow these steps to check your eligibility and join:
Step 1: Check if your institution is an ASCILITE member
Visit the ASCILITE current Institutional Members List to see whether your organisation holds a membership
Step 2: Identify your institution’s membership type
Institutions hold one of four membership levels: Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
- Diamond members: Any staff member at the institution can join ASCILITE. Simply complete the ASCILITE join form for your institution on the institutional Member List page.
- Gold, Silver, or Bronze members: A limited number of staff places (quota) are available through the institution.
Step 3: Gold, Silver, or Bronze member
- If your institution appears on the list, but no contact details are provided, please contact the ASCILITE Secretariat to obtain the current institutional contact.
- Once approved through your institutional representative, you will be guided through the membership registration process.
How to Join ASCILITE as an Individual Member
If your institution does not have an ASCILITE institutional membership, or if you are unable to access a place within your institution’s membership quota, you can still join ASCILITE directly through an individual membership.

ASCILITE offers several membership options, including, 1- and 3-year membership, and student or retiree membership.
Step 2: Complete the online membership form
You can join ASCILITE by completing the online membership form and paying your membership fee using credit card, or alternative payment by contacting the ASCILITE Secretariat.
