OEP SIG workshop: Planning and Reporting on OER Impact

18 April @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST

For our first OEP SIG event of 2024, in this workshop we will watch and discuss key snippets from the seminal Open Education Network webinar series called Office Hours. This session will focus on both Australian and U.S. experiences in planning and reporting on the impact of OER initiatives in a way that is compelling to higher education managers, decision makers, and funders.

This discussion will be useful to attend for anyone who is:

  • just getting started in planning how to evaluate the success of OER initiatives and programs in the future
  • currently engaged in evaluating the impact of OER
  • looking for tools and methods to support OER evaluation

The session will be a mix of:

  • watching short snippets of OEP wisdom
  • interactive activities through Mentimeter
  • shared discussions about how we can apply this knowledge at our local institutions

If you would like to watch parts of the full Office Hours webinar ahead of this session, you can see it on YouTube: Office Hours: Showing Your Work – Tools for Reporting Impact (you can read the full transcript too)

In order to encourage open discussion, the session will not be recorded but we will endeavor to share notes about key points and resources discussed (to be published on this event page afterwards).
