TELedvisors Network webinar: Nobody told me… Confessions of Third Space ProfessionalsDate: Thursday 30 July
Time: 11am WST | 1:00 pm AEST | 3pm NZDT Working in the third space is rewarding, challenging and often difficult to explain. Much of what shapes our practice is not learned through formal induction or professional development. It is learned through experience, through relationships, and through working across academic, professional and institutional boundaries. What do you wish someone had told you when you first started? Join the TELedvisors community for an interactive conversation exploring the hidden curriculum of third space work. Together, we will share stories, reflect on the lessons we have learned, and uncover the unwritten knowledge that shapes our practice but is rarely discussed openly. The session will combine short stories, live polling, breakout discussions and shared reflection to explore what it really means to work in the third space today. Whether you are new to the third space or have many years of experience, your perspective will help shape the conversation. Before the session, you will be invited to anonymously complete one sentence: “Nobody told me that…” Those anonymous reflections will become the starting point for our discussion. Come along to connect with colleagues, contribute your experience, and help uncover the hidden curriculum of third space practice. This session will be hosted by Diana Turnip, an educational developer from UNSW More information on presenters soon Register here Colin Simpson, Wendy Taleo, Penny Wheeler & Olivia Rajit
