A range of accommodation is available beyond those described here. All flights have been arranged through QANTAS, but travel by another airline can also be booked if required. Accommodation Conference accommodation has been arranged at the following venues: Vickery House (Curtin University, Bentley campus) This is cottage-style student housing, with units of 6 or 8. There are individual rooms, with a communal common room and kitchen, and shared facilities. Costs are $45 per night including continental breakfast. Japan House (Curtin University, Bentley campus) Japan House is now booked out. Japan House is a small student housing complex set in a Japanese garden. It has individual bed-sitting rooms with their own entrance and en-suite facilities. There is a shared common room and kitchen within the complex. Costs are $55 per night, including continental breakfast. Only a limited number of rooms are available. Rydges (Perth City,15 minutes by bus from Curtin) Rydges is located in the centre of Perth city, adjacent to His Majesty's Theatre and minutes' walk from Northbridge. It offers superior accommodation, as a new hotel with elegant rooms. It boasts a bar and restaurant, 24 hour room service and in-house movies. Prices quoted do not include breakfast. Hotel Ibis (Perth City, 15 minutes by bus from Curtin) Located in the city centre, this is a moderate hotel with bars and restaurants, 24 hour room service and in-house movies. Prices quoted do not include breakfast. Terrace Hotel (Perth City, 15 minutes by bus from Curtin) Located four blocks from the city centre, this is a moderate hotel with a coffee shop and restaurant. Studios have fully equipped kitchens. Prices quoted do not include breakfast.
