Objectives | This half day (morning) workshop aims to provide participants with:

Intended audience | The workshop is designed for new researchers and those who would like to gain some experience in the use of qualitative data analysis techniques. This would include people who have collected interview data, discussion forum posts, email communications, collections of documents in electronic format and electronic archives that require analysis to discover themes, concepts and relationships between concepts in their data. Experience in the use of computers is essential. | |

Details of activities | The workshop will consist of short presentations interspersed with activities involving the application of the software for analysis of sample documents, document sets and transcripts. A workbook will provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data for analysis. Copies of the software to be used, Leximancer, will be provided for your use in the workshop venue.
