Despite these\, we play a vital role in advocating for and implementing innovative solutions that enhance educational experiences and drive digital transformation within universities. \nJoin us to explore these challenges and hear tips for working with multiple stakeholders to enhance the student experience. \nPlease register to access the webinar and/or the webinar recording. \nSpeakers\nDr Gavin Beck\, Manager\, Educational Technology & Strategy (University of Technology Sydney)\nDr. Gavin Beck holds a PhD in Education Technology Futures from the University of Newcastle\, Australia. In his role at the University of Technology Sydney\, Gavin leads the Education Technology Strategy team\, overseeing the selection and prioritisation of pedagogically sound technologies. He is responsible for planning and implementing new learning tools and technologies to meet the requirements of users and stakeholders.  As part of this\, he manages the stakeholder consultation processes and collaborates with various departments. Additionally\, he represents the university in external institutions\, user groups\, and vendor meetings to advocate for improvements and bring external knowledge into the organisation. \n\nProfessor Julie Robert\, Dean (Learning & Teaching)\, Arts\, Education and Law (Griffith University)\nProfessor Julie Robert has nearly two decades of teaching experience in French language\, Francophone literature and cultural studies\, and supervising undergraduate research in a study abroad setting. Julie’s accomplishments in learning and teaching include an Australian Office of Learning and Teaching Citation for her work to strengthen the link between foreign language curriculum and pedagogy\, study abroad and employability and Faculty Enrichment Grants from the Canadian government. She has led major curriculum renewal projects focused on multidisciplinary and dual degrees and initiated a range of L&T projects across undergraduate\, postgraduate and micro-credential studies.

Her volunteer work as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector laid the foundation for her career in training and education\, sparking a lasting commitment to learner development and inclusive practice. \nJess Ashman is Head of Learning at Cadmus. With a background in tertiary education and over a decade of experience in project and account management within education and SaaS\, her expertise lies in developing account growth strategies\, driving product value realisation\, designing and implementing high-quality learning experiences\, and forging lasting relationships with key stakeholders. She leads projects from concept to implementation to evaluation\, using data-driven insights to adapt and ensure success. \nCourtney Shalavin is the Manager of Customer Voice at TAFE NSW. She is a specialist in human-centred design with close to a decade of experience solving vocational and tertiary education problems. Courtney is skilled in mixed-methods research\, end-to-end project management and generating trust and credibility with stakeholders. \nAmy Martin wears multiple hats as a Non-Executive Director and Board Vice-President Australian Institute of Training and Development and the Educational Technology Adoption Manager at Queensland University of Technology. She brings experience from corporate and enterprise settings\, vocational and higher education environments\, and has worked in various industries including cybersecurity\, finance\, education\, and defence. Amy has qualifications and skills in Career Education\, Adult and Vocational Education\, Training and Assessment\, and Information Technology.\n \nCarmen Vallis is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Development at the University of Sydney Business School. Carmen leads co-design projects and multidisciplinary teams with the aim of making learning and teaching better for all. SUMMARY:Business Education SIG  Webinar: Responsible Business Education for all - it’s more than SDGs
DESCRIPTION:A growing focus on emphasis on Responsible Business Education and the SDGs has meant students are now taking both compulsory core and electives classes with this as a focus. Join our Business Education SIG as we discuss teaching and learning exploring students expectations and closing the gaps on their lived experience and expectations. \nDr Charmaine Logan-Fleming\, Dr Susie Chant and Associate Professor Lynn Gribble will explore this and more across cohorts ranging from 150 – 1500. \nBios: \nDr Charmaine Logan-Fleming is based at Griffith University where she is recognised for valuing the principles of sustainability\, equity\, diversity and occupational health and safety within the courses she convenes. Enabling students to realise their ambitions and become effective global citizens wherever they choose to work within the community and business industry. \nDr Susie Chant is the PRME Academic Lead and Chair of the UniSA Sustainability Working Group\, which advances practical initiatives aimed at reducing the university’s carbon footprint. She is also a Program Coordinator and Lecturer at UniSA Business\, where she teaches the school’s largest undergraduate core course which focuses on responsible business\, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)\, business ethics\, and sustainability in practice. \nAssociate Professor Lynn Gribble has taught and convened the largest compulsory core course at UNSW on SDGS and ethics. She also is currently working on a responsible business education project with Birmingham Business School on the nature of ‘wife work’ or ‘academic housework’ in universities.
