SUMMARY:Webinar: A (fast) Slow Chat and MS Teams for teaching and TELedvisors
DESCRIPTION:Our first webinar for 2021 sees the TELedvisors Network looking at new ways of working. We will revisit the “slow chat” that we ran recently – albeit slightly sped up – and take a look at MS Teams.  \nAs the education technology field continues to grow\, we are seeing more and more “non ed tech” technologies moving into the learning and teaching space. Microsoft Teams is one of these\, offering a rich set of functions in their platform for synchronous and asynchronous collaboration and group work.   \nThis webinar explores how it is being used in teaching by Amanda White\, a lecturer in auditing at UTS\, Sydney.   \nThe TELedvisors Network is also exploring using Teams as a way to better support communication and collaboration between TELedvisors members. Colin Simpson from the TELedvisors organising group will discuss how we arrived at this decision\, demonstrate how Teams can be used and lead a discussion on what else we might like to do with it.   \nJoin us at bit.ly/TELedsinar
