OutlineThis workshop will review the Lotus Institute's White Paper on Distributed Learning: Approaches, Technologies and Solutions; describe the elements and functionality of LearningSpace Forum and LearningSpace Anytime; and demonstrate how to use the software to create and deliver synchronous and asynchronous courses via the Internet, or via a Notes client.

Objectives
to introduce participants to LearningSpace by answering three questions:

1. What is the philosophy of education that created LearningSpace?
2. What's the difference between LearningSpace Forum and LearningSpace Anytime?
3. How does one use LearningSpace Forum and LearningSpace Anytime to create and deliver synchronous and asynchronous courses via the Internet?
