Despite the huge investment in computer based learning (CBL) by governments, universities and individuals, few CBL programs have been developed for tertiary business education. According to Laurillard (1993) and Alexander and Hedberg (1994) few have been systematically evaluated against their intended benefits. The objective of this paper is to report the results of an evaluation of LearnFM, a computer based learning program (CBL) for tertiary business education. The formative evaluation was conducted by video, questionnaire and interview of students and staff, while the summative evaluations were conducted primarily by questionnaire.
