This page sets out our policies on cancellations of registrations for EdTech'98.
For cancellations received on or before 12 June 1998, the refund will be the amount paid less a handling charge of $100, except that:
in the case of virtual conference only registrants, refunds will not be available as the amount involved is relatively small in relation to handling charges.
in the case of registrants changing from face to face conference full registration to one day registration, or from face to face conference to virtual conference only, the refund will be the difference between initial amount paid and revised registration at normal rate, less a handling charge of $50.
No refunds will be made for conference registration cancellations made after 12 June, Hotel accommodation cancelled after 12 June will incur a loss of the first night's deposit unless special circumstances apply.
For security reasons, requests for refunds must be made by email, fax or letter to Keynote Conferences, not by telephone, and the request must enclose a complete copy of the original registration details. Refunds if granted will be paid by cheque via post to the name and postal address as given at registration time, and will be made only after conclusion of the conference.
