We are pleased to offer our readers the third issue of Volume 1 of the electronic Journal of Instructional Science and Technology (JIST). We hope you enjoyed the contents of issue one and two and have become a frequent visitor to our web site. This journal is now well and truly on the way and we welcome your interest in it.

This issue contains one rather largish article for you by Joan Robson. The article is based on Joan's Master's thesis research at Deakin University in Australia. In this article Joan revisits the subject of audio-teleconferencing and its impacts on learning outcomes such as students' attitudes towards learning. Her investigation is thorough and her findings are interesting.

We hope that you will find her paper interesting reading.

Enjoy
