About the conference proceedings

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the proceedings and publications CD for the conference. In putting together this work we would like to acknowledge the extremely valuable contributions of all participants. In a time when education in several sectors continues to face unprecedented and often exponential change, it is heartening to see the spirit in which those involved in the educational undertaking continue to demonstrate the willingness to be creative, innovative and what is perhaps even more important to share freely that wealth of expertise and experience they bring to the development and betterment of educational theory and practice.

In an endeavour to make a 'real' or practical contribution to unravelling the web and establishing learning links, we have decided to make the access to the materials on this CD as simple as possible. Thus you will find a number of folders, in which the papers received for the various categories have been placed. The table of contents provides a simple list as to which folder you will find particular papers. Whilst all efforts have been made to technically make access easy to the information, we do ask all users to respect the copyright of the individual authors in your use of the materials.

We thank you again for your contributions to the conference and wish you well in your future explorations of links and webs.
